From my experience a definitive conversion chart from Lechler to Ral codes does not exist.
If you do find a RAL code it may not be an exact match.
It would be better to use a supplier who can supply the paint using the Lechler code or can produce an exact match using a piece of the scooter.
If you want the code for powder coating I searched the internet for hours and was unable to find a match for the code I was looking for.
Good luck with your search.

Hi Toddy.

I've got the full Ral colour code paint chips you can borrow if it helps mate. Like Landybretta says, there is no bang on match for original Lechler paint. But there are a few that are very very close. We tend to use them on customers scooters, when they want a cheaper restoration/rebuild carrying out, and want the forks, hubs rims wheels, stand splash plate and under panel cowls tank etc powder coating to keep cost down, and the rest of the scooter bodywork can then be re sprayed in the same Ral code to ensure a match. Staying close to Factory colours at the same time. There are a lot of Ral codes that are close to Innocenti Lechler colours, but has i have said not a spot on match. depends what you are aiming for and how fussy you are i suppose. If doing a full blown correct concours resto, then of course Lechler paint codes must be used. I can post the chips to you recorded delivery if it helps.

Regards Waddo.

Lambretta Paints in Cheshire are a good source of original Lechler colours:

They have supplied the correct colour for my Model D.

Does anyone know if ral do an equivalent to 8080 yellow ochre? I can refinish the seat loop with matched paint but would prefer to have the frame itself powder coated.
