High Revs - Speedo Light Goes Out

Evening -- managed at last to sort the pick up heght and scoot revs out as it should. Only thing is when at full throttle / high revs my speedo light goes out, back to 3/4 throttle and it comes back on. All other lights / electrics fine, any ideas? -- Thanks G

Sounds like a resonant iffy connection somewhere. I normally connect a small thin wire from one of the 3 self tapping screws that hold the speedo in place to the earthing point on the bulb. Otherwise, you are relying on the speedo cable to deliver this earth connection.
6V scoots should use 12v bulbs and 12v scoots usually use a 24V speedo bulb. Some LED bulbs can be used, but these can make the speedo face anoyingly bright and distracting if it is overly powerful.
