Holes for S3 Special Side Panel Flash & Badges

Need to bore holes in new side panel before painting -- are there any tricks of the trade to get these in the right place? Cheers G.

I am restoring a 150 Special and I have just drilled my side panels for the same thing. I put blue tack in the approximate area to be drilled and then positioned badgesAnd flashes where the needed to be so theirs left indentations to drill holes.
