Fork link bushes/bolts.

With ref’ to the above, has anyone ever used the grease nipple type bolts on a series3?
From a mechanics thought, would being able to grease the pivots be beneficial, or am I completely down the wrong track, probably a very good reason that this is not the case.
Educate me please.
