At some point in the future, I’ll be trying something similar but with either a 24 or 25mm carburettor. If I’m honest, I am thinking that a standard box exhaust will be a better bet but I’ll give the bgm v4 a go first.
If I was trying on an SH1/20, I’d start by upping the main jet by 3 or 4 and gently trying that set up around town. Check that it ticks over ok and how it responds revving up and down on the stand (does it hang up?). If it doesn’t tick over, or if it hangs up when coming down the revs, increase the pilot and see if that improves things.
Gut feel does tell me that you’ll need to richen the mid range though but cross that bridge when you come to it.
Don’t go mad on the bypass until you have done some plug chips showing that it isn’t running lean. I’m assuming that you aren’t having to run the barrel in at the same time
