Postby smithy » Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:52 am

I bought some of this off a dealer ...not used it yet but due an oil change..anyone else tried it?
this would be used in a highly tuned lambretta under much more stress than standard...i'm currently using the maxima mtl stuff..

I personally wouldn't use it.I always use rock oil st90 and I've never had a problem,it costs less than £10 a litre and you only need 0.5 of a litre for an oil change, thats less than £5 for 3,000 miles use.

Stuart Owen used to use it. That's a fairly good testament in my opinion. He was initially amazed that it would be fit for purpose, as he is very straight talking, but acknowledged that it worked very well in his sprinter.

I don't use it as I have moved even further away from the old SAE 90 concept, but that's something for more testing to prove.
