Atomic clutch mod

Postby Knowledge » Sun Oct 18, 2015 9:49 pm

I hear good things about the Atomic clutch components. Scoot RS do their Atomic clutch centres in three versions, GP, Li and early Li with a spindle.

My Li 150 'box has the Xmas tree drilled for the early Li spindle, but the side casing is GP. Previously, I have ground the Li nipple of the Innocenti clutch centre to suit this combination of components, but can I do the same with the Scoot RS component without compromising the contraction of the pressure plate?

speak to Scotty from Darlo as he does a very neat 5 plate conversion using the Atomic clutch and Surflex plates. I have one in my 230 and it's great

Careful now with what you wish for Norrie. I might be getting an Oily Rag article out of this, so not too much info on this thread please (though pm's are always welcome).
