Brevettato Fuel Gauge

Does anyone have any experience of using the Brevettato fuel gauge.?

Seems like a useful accessory - IF they actually work!

Check the float can move up and down the tube ok. There are two small screws at the top of the tube and from what I can remember you can undo these to free the top to then check the tube. Early versions of these had problems with the floats and replacement ones were given out free. Can't remember what the problem was now though.

Ive got one and its pretty invaluable to me. There is the odd time when the float does seem to get stuck but i can live with that.
Only works with standard size fuel tank though.

Thank you for the responses

I think I'll get one - i'm paranoid about running out of fuel and peering into the tank, its difficult to see how much fuel is actually left.

(for some reason I ride with the fuel tap fully on - I know there is the reserve setting but tend not to use that,,, )

My fuel gauge cost less than £1.
It's a stick with graduations marked 1 to 8.5 litres and it works every time. :D It fits under the seat or in my legshield toolbox.
