Technical help for Series one, two and three Lambrettas. Models include the Li, Li Special, TV, SX, GP, Serveta and API/SIL models

I have been offered first option at the purchase of a 1966 Spanish series 3 Eibar Li150 which has been fully restored and is mint condition. My problem is I'am not sure what' it's worth.
It looks mint and is tax exempt, comes with all documentation Full MOT and rides well.
Can anybody give me a ball park figure of what such a scooter might be worth and can then hopefully negotiate for accordingly (maybe secure a bargin!!!!)
All views greatly appreciated. Jono

Possibly as much as £3k for a really good one, but prices are quite inflated so might be more.
If you get it for 2 or less then treat as a bargain.
In the end it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Tend to agree with the £3k mark. £3k buys you a nice scooter and maybe a couple of extras (kitted engine, decent exhaust, carb', etc). If you leave the scoot as is £3k wouldn't be far off, but if you intend "kitting" it up (not many standard 150's doing the long rallies) you could end up spending another £1k + so bear that in mind when you buy.

I sold an Italian 1966 Li 150 Special last year and I got £2400 for it , so that appears to be the market rate at the moment !!

A basket case will probably cost you £1500 and you could easily spend another £1500 - £2000 restoring it.
Mint condition is a term best used for sweets with a hole in the middle. My version of it has rarely [if ever] matched any sellers version of it.
Prices of Spanish scooters have increased in the last 2 or 3 years as they're not the ginger stepsons that they were once perceived to be.
If you plan on any serious riding then you'll need to budget for spending another £1K plus on kitting it to keep up with modern traffic.

I'm a bit late with this, but... I have a 1965 Eibar LI150, Paid £2k a year and half ago and it was in descent nick with restored body work, but not the engine, I'll get the engine done sometime. I have easily spent 1K on bits and pieces and replacing some parts to make it better than when purchased. But I personally seen the 2K as a market bargain and if I were to even think about selling I would be asking £3K as a starting price and wouldn't entertain anything less than.
