Hi guys
nice to be back on here and shame previous posts lost as answer may have been there to this somewhat trivial question.
i've put a reverse cone clubman on my GP, its running and sounding brill (if slightly loud) but i like to be noticed.
my problem is the tailpipe sticking up is so close to the side panel its causing the paint to melt - i'm after a 35 mm deflector to throw the smoke on pedestrians as i scoot past - any ideas / suggetsions please?
i've even seen soemone put a tailcan of a sprts pipe on one, does soemone sell these?
cheers either way
Mike

Maybe look on some classic VW dealer websites?

Thanks davla
I did think of that but figured car ones would be too big but will have a look.
Thanks again

I'm surprised it's close to the panels, I've got one on my Special and it points away from the side panel.

Like Davia - I have one on my SX 200 and it is a good distance from my side panels.
Question is where did you get it and who did the modification. Mine was done by AF and is absolutely perfect - including the sound!
