Hi has anyone fitted a proper type fuel gauge to there camlam fast flow type petrol tap
is it possible and does anyone know what ohms they run at, seems the most available universal gauges are 0 ohms full to 180ohms empty I think that's how they work. how can you test the tap to see what ohms it is producing
sorry bit long winded but fancy having a proper type gauge
cheers in advance steve

As has already been said the cam lam one is a float on off switch designed for a led time to refill light. I used a tank sender off a Kawasaki for my gauge. It gives a bar graph display on a gauge like the one used on the new Scomadi. It's a 0-100 ohms type but I cannot remember what way round it is.
