Spanish to Italian...whaaaat!!

Postby Fireman Ash » Sun Jun 19, 2016 8:55 pm

So before I get lambasted, has anybody ever swopped their series 80 fibreglass mudguard and horncast for an Italian style one either Li/SX etc. Pressings in leggies are wider than an LI slimstyle, haven't measured anything yet, just asking ......No Spanish scooters were harmed in this enquiry process :D
Thanks guys
Ash

I think it's been done quite a few times Ash - I've bought two sets of Lince -Series 80 mudguard/horncast pairs of a well known auction site.

One of the auctions had a shot of the doner bike in it - complete bar the aforementioned items.

Thanks Digger, any idea which Italian parts fit as tried a slimstyle horncast and it's too narrow for the pressings on the leggies, mudguards seem pretty interchangeable

I built a bitsa with Italian frame, rectangular badge SX horncast, fibreglass remade mudguard and Spanish Lynx or S80 leggies. It all fitted together fine.
