mid range tank

Hi I'm looking to buy a mild steel a mid range 12-13 litre tank for my gp running an RT225 with a 28 phbh, I'm only on a budget for the pressed lambretta style tank and cant stretch to Diablo \ Oiltek. are there any that fit better (or worse) than others and what fitting problems may \ will I encounter, are there any that should be avoided ? any recommendations greatfuly accepted

cost approx £100.
It fitted really well, and looks really neat.
no problems so far!

I've just (today) fitted a 12-13 litre bolt-in one that I got from On Small Wheels £106 inc postage. Absolute b*gg*r to fit in my Spanish S2 but looks okay and hasn't spat anything out on the garage floor yet (4 hours )

I got a bolt in type from just lambretta, oddly enough for a lambretta part it fitted without too much swearing and it hasn't sprung a leak in over 3 years of abuse.

I'd recommend the bolt in type over straps. Mines been in a couple of years without any issues.

I'd previously had a strap one which rubbed against the frame and developed a small leak .......which also happened on a friends S2.

The built-in one I have just put in has the lip tight against the tool box. Is this going to cause issues?

Possibly. My "strap-in" one had only the faintest marks where it had rubbed and this caused it to leak (more a weep really). I'd try and get a gap if possible or at the least fit some rubber between the toolbox and tank.
