New Speedo for LI Special

Postby Strummer10 » Thu Nov 03, 2016 4:49 pm

Hi All,

Where's best place to get a quality LI Special type (Veglia blue faced either 70 mph or perhaps 90 mph) speedo from where the needle won't break or jump about ?

Mine's 'Knacked'

If your original works then fit it with an mph face

The miles counter still works, but its the speedo pin that's kaput. It was jumping around on the speedo and making horrendous noises then it just stopped moving and the horrendous noises persisted.............I was riding to and from the Amiens run this year when it happened so no chance to look at it, just thought i'd stick another one on.

I could strip it down and take a look as I agree its a lottery buying another .

No not looked at speedo drive. I need to get the speedo out the bike and take a look. Then I've found a second similar speedo in the garage, so might be able to get one out of it that works. Have you Jem Booth's details ...will call him and see If I can send them
