They are sooo cheap on evilbay, was wondering if it's worth a punt. For £50 you can't really loose?.?.....OR can you?

Some dealer calling himself 'Sccoterist' in India is practically giving stuff away with free postage!
Sure the quality may not be there but a GP carb hose with 2 clips, is surely worth 4.59? Some dealers will charge that for a Jubile

Sounds a bit dodgy. SIL stuff is widely copied over there, so there is no guarantee that's what they are.

Beware of Indian carburettor hoses, unless you want to fit one as some kind of de-tune. Mind you, it is incredible what can be made from coal-miner's snot.

As many have found, they collapse easier than a smoker's lung... :!:

Has anyone taken a punt on a cheap SIL piston n head, regardless of price or supplier?
In an ideal world, I would love a casa or imola, but it all boils down to pennies.

 I second that White torpedo you need a stiff one!
I attribute a code brown moment to a soft seize caused by a split in a carb rubber that was indeed made of punkerwaller semen.
I suppose at £50 the barrel could always be used as a doorstop if it was no good .
The piston would make a lovely trinket.
I guess it all boils down to weather your prepared to potentially lose fifty English pounds .
;)
