Mine arrived recently in a few days. By the time someone sent you theirs, the official one from the DVLA will probably be with you.

I intend to do an article for Jetset on what to fill-in on the V55/5 form, but this article will be wholly dependant on whether I filled mine in correctly before dispatch last Thursday. I guess my registration won't be returned until the New Year now.....

Martin. This is for a hot rod but it gives you an idea as to which parts of the form to fill in and what to write in each box.

This is what I copied and just put my details in where relevant.http://www.lambretta.co.uk/downloads/v55.jpg

Just an Idea a friend had the same problem and he asked the local scooter shop (Buzzsolomoto) if they had a spare V55 they had and they lent him one .
He then replaced it when it arrived .

PS Thanks for reminding me I've applied for one as I will need one next year

It does seem a bit odd that you can't just download a PDF version of the form. There must be a reason.....

It would make things a darn sight easier. Mind you I once got told off for printing off my own Nova form. But they accepted it anyway. Maybe it's because they haven't got their own carbon copy? But, given that it was a nightmare actually getting hold of the real thing I suspect they are prepared to let it slide.

I ordered one recently and it was here in a day or two. Also, with a dating certificate from Rich, I got my V5 on a 1961 scooter 7 days from posting it off with no SGS inspection either which was a surprise. The last one I did (a 1955 Peugeot ) was inspected.
