Series 3 front hub spacers

Postby Halflife » Sun Jan 29, 2017 9:15 am

Hi all,

Come to reassembly my Li150 and I am a little perplexed with the front hub to fork arrangement. Looked back through my strip down photos and typical, the photo I need I never took :?

What should the nut and spacer arrangement be on the front axle to trailing links. I am sure I have the correct configuration within the hub (i.e long spacer in the centre, short spacer at one side and top hat spacer on the other side.

After the skinny nuts have been fitted on both sides of the hub is there another spacer on the inside of the trailing link. All the photos and schematics I have looked at suggest not, but it just does not seem right to have the trailing links clamped down against the two skinny nuts with nothing in between them?

Thanks in advance

Morning. There isn't a washer fitted between the axel inner half nut and the link but there is the thicker front axel washer that fits in to the recess on the outside of the link. Hope that makes sense

If the link works, your fork link sits between parts 15 & 17
