Flush fitting toolbox door lock?

I'm fitting an inline spare wheel carrier and modifying the toolbox door to suit but need to dispense with the standard toolbox door lock as the spare wheel gets in the way of the lever. Does anyone know where I can get a flusher fitting lock without a lever?

Don't know about a lockable catch, but used these for years on race bikes with thick (coat hanger!) wire as the 'catch' for the bayonet (no expense spent!) but they look good & probably not much less thief-proof than what they'd replace....

I don't know much about SI or SII but seem to remember them having flush locks as standard. The following link shows an Indian version being flush and the small images of Italian seem to be flush too...

Yeah, these are the type of thing I'm looking for although I think the latch bit is different on the S1 & S2 but I may be wrong. It doesn't even have to lock tbh as the spare wheel is going to stop anyone from opening it anyway. I can't quite work out how the first one works?

If the lock gets in the way turn it facing upwards and trim it down a little , I did this with mine and it clears the tyre OK.

These are both for Series 1, not sure if they will fit out of the box or need modifying in any way?

Cheers for the ideas.....does anyone else out there know if the Series 1 lock will fit a S3 door?

Just fitted a S1 lock to a Jet 200 toolbox door for the same reason. Had to enlarge holes in door very slightly to get the right fit as the S1 lock was slightly narrower. That is an original lock and not a remade.

I used a mail box lock on one of my cutdowns , granted not the sort of thing that you might find in the UK .
