The low reserve is a known problem on these taps, i've modified mine with a longer brass tube.
I had to buy 300mm of tube so if I've got a bit spare if anyone wants a piece.
First come first serve, I will be keeping some spare for myself for future.
Let me know what length you want

Got to admit the thought of having an unknown amount of not very much reserve does worry me. But it's probably easier to buy a regular OMG fast flow tap instead.

Good taps apparently, simple fix for a bigger reserve. I just set mine up with pipe same size as the OMG ones.
Not fitted to anything yet

Been caught out by this too. Flip to reserve thinking it'll get me home only for the dreaded "bluurrggghhh" and dying a few miles later. Should've noticed when I fitted it.

I think it s been said before that the reserve on the scootopia petrol tap is quite adequate if your running a long range tank.

Ive been thinking about modifying my Tap, which I like apart from the reserve problem. I just haven't had time to source some suitable tube.
So yes I would like some please, unsure what length, happy to go with what you used. Its fitted to a standard tank if that helps.
