extended engine mounting

Postby holty » Tue Mar 20, 2018 9:50 pm

hi, does anyone know who can supply a quality extended engine mounting, ive had two from rayspeed made by uni and both are not made very well, the hole in the center is not central but leaning over, it puts tension on the main bar and vibrates like you wouldnt belive,
thanks in advance,
holty

I use a double engine mount on the kickstart side and a SIL three hole silent block on the other side. They both use an extended engine bar, they're all supplied by AF Rayspeed and I've used them for over two years without a problem.

Same here, I think it does transmit some more vibes at certain revs but worth it with not having to change the kickstart side mount every few hundred miles/

I had the same problem with the AF extended mount, I gave them a bell and they sent me one with the hole central. It was a pain that the first one was no good but they sorted it out for me straight away. I'm still running my scooter in after an engine rebuild but the extended mount doesn't seem to create any adverse vibration.
