neither, use a b8 and run rich at all settings through the carb range until the plug colour settles. ie rich and work down to acceptable riding conditions for your lower running in, eg b8, running in round town for first 100 miles no more than 40

The kit's well run in. Just trying to jet in a smaller carb. Never got the old carb quite right either, was always very rich.
My head's pickled, move the needles one position and the mid throttle goes from coughing and spluttering to feeling almost right but with a multi coloured plug.

2X NGK SPARK PLUG B8ES 2411

Fyi, the B7S I have, were from my standard, pre tuned, 200cc. They were always a lovely biscuit brown. :D

Be careful buying plugs off eBay unless it's a reputable seller, there are fakes out there.

I notice from your post you check the plug when you get home. this is no good as the plug will be darker due to slow running you need to check the plug at various throttle settings there and then , ride for about a mile on a throttle setting ,release the throttle pull in the clutch and turn off the ignition do not allow engine to idle. coast to a stop remove plug burning fingers put in another plug and repeat at a different throttle setting. I do mine at just below 1/4, just above 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and just below fully open .if you have a pocket full of plugs you can mark them to indicate which throttle setting it was and have a good look at the colour when you get home its easier than on the side of the road ,then adjust the appropriate jet as necessary.

I'm checking the plug after rides just to see how the motor is overall. Like a barometer.
I was planning on plug chopping once I've run it a bit more. Didn't fancy sitting at 3/4 throttle for a mile until at least 200, which should be this weekend hopefully.

Nice tip on swapping and marking though, hadn't thought or heard of that one before. Cheers.

Must admit you've got me worried a bit. I spent ages trying to find fault. They look bang on perfect And the seller has sold huge numbers. I'll see how it goes with them but will probably just order some more from camlam to be safe. Spent too much on this motor to kill it trying to save a few quid.

Cheers

For my two pence worth,
Chop with the grade of plug your going to use.
Doesn't make sense to do all those chops then change your plug and hope it's all right
Recently heard mineral oil coulors plugs quicker, but I have no first hand experience.
