Hearing what others have said about Mitchelin S1 I'd never buy them again for an all weather tyre . Although its likely to take years to wear out the three that I have now
I think I read a couple of good reviews somewhere and thought the tread pattern looked sexy so I bought them .
I have only had two rides in the wet with them and on both occasions they were so slippy that I felt distinctly unsafe and I can confirm that they have a strong tendancy to 'white line' .
In the dry I have no complaints whatsoever and they seem to grip really well allowing me to lean the scoot to quite surprising angles of lean when a sharp bend has caught me ou once or twice.
I'd definitely recommend them for predominantly dry weather riding
