Ive been looking for a new carb and anything Lammy is pricey, just put in 'carb' and its a totaly different ball game.
Ive just bought a Mikuni carb for........? £17!!!! It may be a fake or a load of crap? But its worth a punt. And i couldnt give to f......s if Mr genuine Itaian thinks its just not the done thing!

If you think lambretta parts are expensive, you want to try buying parts for Harley-Davidson,but at least when you buy something it may be expensive but at least it does the job and it fits.

Carb came today, its a Mikuni copy but really good quality. Fits and works a treat!!!

Its a 2 stroke, got spare needles.
Only issue is the choke which will need a conversion from pull to cable.
Those lovely Gerries at SIP, have a choke conversion for sale, which was nearly as expensive than the bloody carb!
I will fettle one from old carbs...

Post some photos of your choke conversion; there may be others who could use that information.

Fettle, learn, share.

Ok Pal, will do. The choke conversion is the easy bit, getting my pics to load on to this site at the right size, is the challenge

Cheers Bodge......

Just an update on the choke, I managed to match up the choke to use the cable, but the push button one that is fitted, clicks on and off so nicely, I'm considering using it and attaching a rod similar to the petrol tap/rod and cutting a hole for it next to the petrol tap and simply using the choke that way. Very on off able!
