How much movement should there be in the chain with pull down chain tensioner when tensioned.

Are you concerned that there is too much, or too little slack with your pull-down tensioner, or are you just asking....?

I was just asking as it feels tight but theres still about 10mm of movement at the bottom

Check the chain tension were you would with a standard chain tensioner.To tight and it will still feel slack on the bottom run of the chain.

Recommended slack is 6mm up & down movement, measured between the front sprocket & chain tensioner, I measure the chain several times by rotating it as you do get "tight spots" on some parts of the chain, I then set it to 6mm on the tightest part, bit of a faff but works for me ;)

Yes its measures different in places when turning the clutch but im happy with that.
