Exhaust box to high

Just fitted new exhaust. And the box is to high. Can not get running board on. Any ideas.

what model is your scooter, series 2/3, what exhaust?
I has similar with a MB Clubman on a Series 3, my shock was too short, fitted a shock with a longer eye to eye length, that pushes engine down forward of the engine mount.

Its a gp200 and standard exhaust.
