Will a series 2 12 volt engine fit straight into a series 3, will I need to do any mods whatsoever. Will the series 3 exhaust fit it. Thanks.

The only difference as far as fitting is concerned,is the sidecase.If you fit it with the series 2 sidecase,you will have to change the kickstart lever for a series 2 one.You can fit a series 3 sidecase onto the engine then you wont need to change the kickstart lever.

That's cool Paul. Kick starts are cheap enough.

Assuming your series 3 is 12V if not you will need to look at bulb and horn swaps and maybe a regulator depending on what its got
