Why deviate from the lambretta spec of ST90 unless you've got some fancy clutch plate compound. It's tried and tested

Who's deviating, I was just wondering if it would do the same job.

It appears wrong of me to have assumed that it was you considering deviating from the traditional lambretta specification, given you took the time to post the question, so please accept my apology (note to self never assume when responding to a post)
Let's hope someone can help "anyone" who is considering using the 75w80 in a lambretta gearbox.

Hi Gaz,
Thanks for getting back to me mate. It did sound as if I was going to use it. I found a litre of the oil in my shed and thought it may be of use in my. lammys if I ever needed it.
Cheers

In a standard set up I`d steer clear and stick with straight ST90
