Brake/tail light bulb 6V 15/3W

Struggling to be to find a recommended 6V 15/3W rear light bulb on the internet (UK) for a DL125, 6V AC non battery scooter. Could I use a bulb with a slightly higher wattage rating of 15/5W (Serveta Li 125 AC non battery) ?

BA15d 6v 15/3 watt bulbs were usually found on continental bikes.
British registered machines were fitted with 21/5 watt bulbs to meet UK vehicle lighting regs.

The 15/3 watt bulbs are readily available from continental dealers but there's no advantage to fitting them.

I’m no electrician but years ago I had a standard S3 Li150. It was 4 pole. I think it had a battery. Without the correct spec 15/3 tail light bulb, I had all sorts of issues. With the correct bulb, all was good.

At the time, Scooter Restorations stocked them but I don’t think they do now.

Lucas might be bringing them back on the market through a vintage supplier the last I heard. Whether this still happens I don't know. Depends on demand I suppose.
