Got a Lis with the original fiberglass mudguard. Is it possible to fit the SX style alloy/chrome/stainless trim flash over the raised moulding.
Used to have a SX but never removed the trim to check if it had the raised bit pressed in.
Dont want to order one and waste my money as things are a arse to send back
Cheers

The trim fits all/any SX/Special/GP front mudguards (might be a few poor shape repros that it doesn't fit but it would fit all originals). The crest is basically a thin pressing, with the underside being recessed to clear/form fit with the corresponding crest on the mudguard. It is secured by 2 fixed threaded lengths that go through 2 hole in the top of the mudguard (you would need to drill these into any mudguard that wasn't originally fitted with one).
LI / Spanish mudguards are a different shape.

Don't order a Viet one, they're a very poor fit. The Scootopia one is very good though.
