Hi, I realise that most legshield toolboxes need to be shaped a little to fit good. Has anyone fitted a lynx /lince legshield box to a series 3 li ? ( not GP) if so we're they close ish or miles out ? Thank you John

Some of them are not all that close on a Lince...

The plastic ones with the small curved hatch are quite soft plastic, where as the larger squarer one is harder, more rigid material.

I didn't realise there where 2 different boxes , that's news , I don't suppose you would have any links to pictures , so I could I identify the difference ? I will be trying to fit the box to a '79 jet, which will probably have different shape legshields to the Lynx / ser 80 ? Thanks again

And this type

Either should fit standard LI type legshields, but there's very few sets of those that you'll find that are the same shape they left the factory.

Definitely the later one in the second pic but they're rarer and not pretty
