when positioning my front hub between the fork links I have a gap of roughly 8mm .its an indian gp.just want to know is it common to use shims .I am thinking of shimming under the inner hub nuts.any thoughts please?

I would think with that bigger gap there's a problem with the links or the forks

thanks for reply.i have some new links so will try them.if its still the same then its getting some wider nuts to take up the gap!

If you found some wider nuts, how would you know if your wheel is correctly centralised?
