holty wrote:ive just rebuilt a series 2 which has the same handles, what I did to make the handle easier to turn was the split pins that hold the springs on I bent them like a c shape so the springs are not under so much tension, I then bent the end of the split pin around the opposite way to hold it in place, I also used the brass end caps which improved the job.
