My Indian GP is factory red and it looks to be the same colour as my old Italian GP200. I got an aerosol of red paint with it called "Rosso" code Lambretta 8073. I seem to remember it being called another name, can anyone enlighten me. Thank you.

GP Red - Does anyone have a scanned copy of the article that I recall Adam Winstone and others ... regarding the different GP Red colours used between 1969 and 1971, covering the 8073, Martian red debate? I recall it was in JetSet, but maybe Scootering? Many thanks Al I haven't ...

It's an ongoing debate. I don't think anyone has come up with a definitive answer.

I was joking - it is a FB page that a lot of people post 'controversial' topics on in the hope of setting off a spat.

GP red, 2 stroke oil, mix percentage could all set them off...
