I was going to get the sip Speedo but when you add all the extra bits on they don't come out much different to a gamma unit from scootronics. Not bothered about standard looks so which would you go for.

I like the SIP for the standard fitment but CHT and clock text very small for old eyes.

The Gamma Tech has bigger text and extra functions, ie EGT. I found it needs a more powerful magnet for the speedo and positioned as close as poss for the reading to be steady.

Hope this helps

Should have said, I'd go for the Gamma because of the EGT as it's been invaluable for my set-up.

I’ve got a Gamma and love it. As above nice big text and well lit, it’s saved the day a few times but my only grumble is the k type EGT sensor, if you get 3k out of one you’ve done well, ive tried the £25 ones as well as the £4 eBay ones none of them seem to last unfortunately.

This type?

Or this type?

I've heard the first type gum up, I use the second type and it would make sense that they last longer (?).

Ah, never seen the first type before but the second “enclosed “ type is what I’ve always used. When they go they usually jump to 1000 degrees for a few minutes and the display starts flashing then drop to 0 and that’s it it’s dead.
