Lambretta series 3 Battery Strap Attachment

Afternoon Guys - does any have any images or information on how the battery strap attaches across the battery on a Series 3 please? its the other side of the attached picture i'm interested in TIA.

The standard strap should have a large 'pin' in it that should be free to rotate. The ends are cranked & register in the two holes in the battery tray. There is no guarantee that it will stay located in the tray whilst the faff of fitting the battery & strap over it, so I nowadays put a small piece of tight fitting fuel pipe on each end of the pin to keep it in place.

]The trunnion on the end of the battery strap slots into the 2 holes on either side of the battery tray at the rear.The strap can slip out until fastened at the front when the battery is fitted.

Thanks Guys for the replies its much appreciated, your replies make sense, my battery tray is welded to the frame I don't recall seeing the 2 holes to locate the rod but I may have been over thinking it so will double check. thanks again.
