I am working on a mate’s scooter which has a standard bench seat.

Unfortunately, the wriggly spring that connects the front and back seat springs together has broken (the broken wriggly spring runs across the seat, beneath the strap).

Can you buy the wriggly spring?

I bought a spring kit from Vietnam some years ago , send me a picture i may be able to help.

I think this is what you are after - it supports the two conical spring as as well and comes in the kit sold by Corrado at Just Lambretta (and probably other good suppliers).
For some reason I have two in very different lengths but I can't remember why that is!
