Indian Voltage Regulator.

Postby St George » Thu Oct 17, 2019 3:48 pm

My Vijay has a modern stator which produces a good spark. The voltage regulator has three pins and has the name Swiss on it. Looking at the connections only two have ever been used out of the three pins as there are no spade marks on the 3rd pin. I can not find anything like this in Sticky's 3 edition. Can anyone explain, why only two pins used. Or would anyone have a different diagram that would help. My single power supply from the stator to the regulator kicks out good voltage and is yellow. Thanks.

Thanks Paul. Mine must earth direct to the frame, not requiring the 3rd pin.
