Hi all,
I have a problem with my GP i left it lying for a about 4 months i went to start it and it only turns half way and stops, i turned the flywheel in both directions with the plug out still the same, any pointers.

If everything was ok when you laid it up and there were no pending mechanical faults then I would suspect some corrosion has developed in the barrel. This would form a barrier that the rings couldn’t pass. Another possibility, albeit I’ve never seen it on a small engine is that a mouse has crawled in and it’s blocking the piston!

May be worth looking inside the ports, pain in the bum I know.
