welding

Now I must say from the start I am not complaining as I got this frame at the right price and i'm in a position to correct it. ;)
The last owner was David Blunkett who probably welded these struts without stripping the scooter or taking it off the stand for that matter :lol:

Looks like it had originally been welded with a PP3 battery as the power supply for the welding rod, looks a right tidy job now 8-)

Thats a very neat weld there, glad mine are good as I was worried but its the rear of the loop that I am going to have issues with as its been crinkled and diy attempts to uncrinkle it are proving a big fail :*(

blimey i think the last owner needs to clear his workshop out of all the pigeons flying over and dropping crap onto his frames !!!!

The loop on this frame had also been chopped and then another end welded on which was miles out so I had to cut and reposition it which I did twice as it was twisted and the loop was sitting too high behind the number plate. Nightmare is an understatement. Strapped it all up as I was on my own and it kept moving.
