I have a question, how is it that a series 2 differs from a series 3? I understand about panel clearance but is the bracket that fits to the engine casing not the same, is the hanger on the tale pipe any different?
Confused Shane.

If its the exhaust your worried about,I have a series 2 with a series 3 exhaust,it fitted straight on.Series 3 engine fits straight in ,I think the only difference is with the bodywork/frame.

Yes the difference is to allow it to clear the rear runner as if you use an s3 one on an s2 you have to cut down the back of the runner

Thanks.
for the replies I'm going to use cut down rear runners so hopefully all will be good, unless any one sees any issues?

Cheers Shane.

Is it a JL3?
I add to modify the left side rear board too when the downpipe sweeps up!
I’ll see if I can find the photos of this

here you go mate.
i had to cut a half moon out, then turn it upside down & weld it back in for my JL3 to miss the footboard.
