I'm restoring/rebuilding a 66 S3 LI. This has been (badly) repainted at some time. I'm about to get the frame powder coated white, along with tool box, tank etc, however I'm unsure what colour the forks should be, I spotted a GP last week with a silver colour which I was told was the original, but I thought all Lambrettas had white forks and hubs? Any observations?

grey for a gp/dl
(the photo for my icon shows that i got it wrong on my GP200 back in the early nineties, but i was young and foolish!)
