Are brackets for mounting same?
I know there taller, i have a set of cut leggies and would prefer to use them rather than cutting a decent set down

No. They are different.
As the Jet leggy's are an inch or so higher than a GP, they will need an inch or so of metal removing from the top to make them fit the GP frame which might bring the the leggy bracket into line? Else, you will need to unzip the bracket from the leggy's and reweld in the required position.
Dunno how well a GP horn casting would mate up here.
It all sounds like a lot of work to me.
