I know the carb is big, but he's happy with how it runs.
It's a Serveta and has the louvred toolbox door, is a RAM Air filter better or the hose to the toolbox?
Much depends upon the carburettor.
I have often stated my views on carburation & I'm glad to say, not all of us follow the herd!
In fact, against my advice(

) a mate still in a time warp from ownership in the 70's bought a 34 mm PWK for his return 'to the fold'
Amazingly, I could tell from the video clip he sent me of it's first run, just how good the engine was. Subsequently, once I'd got my grubby mits upon it, we proved just how well these carbs run with adequate air filtration, with absolutely no hint of flooding, or hot starting problems.
That precise carb, following my blue printing having been gifted it (my mate elected to go down to a 30 mm PWK out of intrigue) now sits temporarily on a TS 70mm x 60 mm & the performance is awesome yet extremely civilised. Again, with adequate filtration fitted.
