Anyone know the correct way (& what tools I need) to replace rusting rivets? I was going to buy a new seat cover but to be honest its only the rivets that need replacing, and I've found them on sale. Tried youtube but no luck.
Thanks

I’m also in the same boat. Good seat cover rusty rivets. I was going to try to sand them and paint them black. But if I can put new rivets in i will.

I've just started taking the old rivets out. I just took the seat cover off and fitted a dremel to my drill and ground them flat pull the clips off and push the studs out. Just ordered a new set from all Styles at £8.95 and it's just a reverse process to fit them. When you push the new stud through and put the clip on what you need to do is put the Dome of the stud on a fairly soft surface and then hit the other end of the stud to splay it out and keep the clip on.

Try polishing them up then painting with clear lacquer to preserve the shine
