I have a full dc set up with a battery.
The 12v dc supply comes from the regulator and connects to the wiring loom and heads off to the headset via the rear brake. I also have a wire connected from that point to the battery. I know I need to get an inline fuse on each of these feeds, just haven’t got them yet. I’m just using a kill switch so no key ignition, which means lights and horn work when the engines not running.
When I come to wiring in a spot light is it just a simple case of just wiring a supply to it through a switch? The only issue I can see is overloading the stator, but with a 35/35w headlight and an led taillight. If I fit a 55w in the spot the max load is going to be just over 90w if I have my foot on the brake whilst beeping the horn. I think the stator is 120w. Or am I missing something?
