Fiber glass one from K2. Fits well, no drilling and easy and quickly removed for wheel changes.

I have the K2 one and it's Ok - they collect road shit and you don't want stuff you need to keep clean in them. Drill a hole at the lowest point to drain water. Mine has on occasion rubbed somewhere underneath on the hub or nut but because it is FG you just get a little witness mark. That's better than metal to metal contact.

As to fitting on most Italian / Indian it will be fine but for the later Spanish S80/Lince there's issues with where it's supposed to fit on the near side footboard support.

I have three scooters, a series 3,a series 2 and a series 1.All three have under panel storage.On the series 1 I have copied a K2 one made by ressurection scooters.On the series 2 I have an original K2.https://k2customs.co.uk/products/lambre ... ox-ser-1-2 and on the series 3 I have a removable one by Lamfab https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... ater&ifg=1

As rossclark says, check for contact with the hub. Doing the Seahouses-St Bees C2C we stopped at a café up a hill ? Myself and another scooterist compared the grooves we had in our hubs from the carriers :o With hindsight it may have caught when bottoming out on some potholes. The groove in the hub was probably less than.5mm deep but disconcerting none-the-less. The fibre glass one may be a good option.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know how I get paint chips on all my hub fins? It happens on all my scooters and none have an under panel storage box. All have quality adjustable rear shockers and as far as I can see there is nothing that could be touching. It's a mystery to me.
