Hi.
After a lot of faffing around I’ve found the knocking on my Jet TS1, yep you’ve got it the manifold was knocking on the frame, I took the the engine mount bolt checked the eccentric cones, they were ok and had not moved. So lucky for me I had a series 2 protec shock once fitting everything is fine. The question is will the shorter series 3 protec be ok on my now ready series 2 which also has a reed valve motor, no packers as it’s a muggy with a LTH reed?
Cheers Shane.

The only problem I can see is it will reduce ground clearance on the front of your exhaust

Oh bugger I’m using a JL / KRP 4! I put it in for now and compare with the Jet!
Cheers Shane.

So popped the engine in the series 2 eccentric cones with the series 3 shocker and only have 3.5 inches clearance would using a 310 series 2 shock help matters.
Cheers Shane.

Series 2 rear shock absorbers should definitely be used on S2 as they are longer, but also for S3 for those brave enough to need additional ground clearance ;)
