Posted: Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:58 amBuy the "complete spanners manual" it tells you in there how too fit them.Spray a little paint into them,it makes it easier too fit them,they just slide on and when the paint is dry they wont come off.

My usual method, but they all work.
Don't use paint if fitting the tanslucent grips

I used to use this method on pushbikes when i was a kid, great idea until it rains and then you're taking your life in your own hands as they have a tendency to slide off again. I just soak them in boiling water and they go on pretty easily with some gentle persuasion.

Get them in hot water & they will stretch to the end but will alwasy shrink back - even if using contact adhesive. Anyone know where you can get ones that are the correct length ?
