Hi can anyone tell (or send a link) to where I can get something to tie down my panels, rather than a lock. I have seen some stuff including a boat tie fastener on some customs, any ideas to share

Classic car leather bonnet straps are popular.
I've got a set to put on my s type but can't bring mesel to drill the panels

I have a Silver Special with roller type handles.
I put a thread each side of the bracket. (5 minute job if you have access to a suitable die)
I cut a suitable piece of rubber and put a hole through the centre.
I put this on the end of the bracket after fastening the panels and then fit a nyloc nut.
Not fool proof but will put off or delay anyone after your panels

I have used a jubilee clip on the bracket, once the roller and the panel have been fitted,on the end of the bracket. You only need a screwdriver to remove it,but a thief would twist the panel handle only to find it wont move and move on to the next scooter.

Thanks guys, some good ideas, it was more to stop panels falling off, rather than being nicked,
