I had a silver/red indian one in 1981 W reg
200cc 30 mill delorto had various modified boxes that were being developed by them at the time.
Extremely loud but the mounting studs always failed due to vibration. They would fit it to my Scooter for trial.

My White Royspeed Gp200, FLB25J, was ex John Bevan. It had a VHB30ml carb (square body). Royspeed big Bore (his own take on the 50ml Clubman), stage 3 barrell, and 12v points stator with battery. The panels were sign written "Royspeed" in Black lettering with Orange shadow.
Really a Royspeed was whatever you asked for at the time but generally very basic tweaks.

The shop that used to be in Hornchurch was a few hundred yards from the Companions Scooter Club. The members all used to frequent Roy's of Hornchurch and tune their bikes with Roy's products. There are several old members of the Companions on this forum that keep in touch. Their details were listed but lost went we had the crash on this site. Keith at Kegra Racing ( Southend ) bought much of Roy's stock when he closed down. Hope this helps a bit.

Sad news, Pete Smith of the Companions passed away in hospital yesterday (Thursday). Pauline his wife is still going strong, she was the club treasurer for some time.
